We've made some changes, so please read up before you come to visit!

Hours of Operation

We are now OPEN for browsing and curbside or in-store pickup between 11 am to 5 pm, Tuesday thru Sunday. We are currently closed on Mondays!

There will be a limit of 4 browsers in the store at a time.

Our website remains open for online sales 24/7 with the option of FREE local delivery in Guelph or curbside or in-store pickup. We are also now offering Canada-wide shipping, including FREE shipping on Ontario orders over $100. See our Shipping Policy for more details.

Selling us Books

We are NOT currently buying books, however we are making preparations to do so. We will be making an announcement about this soon!

Health and Safety

Our first priority remains the health and safety of our customers and staff. We ask that all visitors entering the store:

• Wear a face covering that covers both the mouth and nose to protect themselves and others
• Sanitize their hands, wash their hands, or if this is not possible, ask us for a pair of disposable gloves
• Physically distance by remaining 6 feet or more away from other customers and staff

If you are feeling unwell, have travelled abroad recently are self-isolating for any reason, or if you are unable to comply with any of these requirements, please consider shopping online instead. We've put a lot of effort into our online store, and I think you will be happy with the service. 

In addition, we have asked the staff to self monitor and to take their temperature before coming to work. They have been trained on hand-washing, physical distancing, and keeping surfaces clean. Finally, we have opened up the layout of the store and installed protective equipment at the counter.

We are currently accepting for in-store payment: 

• Interac/Debit
• Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club and American Express
• Our old paper gift cards and our new online gift cards
• Apple Pay and Google Pay
• Cash
• Downtown Dollars from the Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA)

Trade Credit

All existing trade credit accounts remain valid. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply trade credit to purchases at this time. We will be honouring trade credit balances once we work out some technical details with our new system. 

Shopping Online

Our online store went live in April 2020 and has been a huge success. We continue to offer FREE local delivery in Guelph, as well as curbside and in-store pickup. We also offer Canada-wide shipping. If you can't come visit us in person, why not check out our online Catalogue instead?
